By definition I am really not a wino at all… here is what I am: A 30 something year old female who enjoys drinking, tasting and experiencing wine. I tend to choose wines from Canada, Italy and Australia the most – but, I can be led astray quite easily by a pretty label!
Most wine experts measure the quality of wine by typical qualities such as colour, clarity, legs, bubbles, smell, etc. I am not an expert by any means and as such will strive to give you my “regular wine drinking person” review on wines by my favourite measurements:
Why did I decide to try this wine? It might be because of the label, the name, the vineyard, or it might just be the wine served at a wedding reception… whatever the reason, you’ll get the inside scoop.
Would I prefer one glass or indulge in the bottle? I would drink a glass of many wines, but only the ones I love will have the cork tossed out when opened…
What shoes would I wear drinking this wine? Most people pair wine with food, well I think all wines give you a certain feeling… So, I will pair shoes with the particular wine to best describe the feeling I get while enjoying the flavours.
How would I describe the wine? When it comes to wine I am not the best at describing what I taste or what I smell… I’ll give this my best shot, but you may end up with a lot of “its a good white wine that tastes like white wine”…
And of course, I will give you the wine details so you too can enjoy a glass!
Shoes: Heels (it doesn’t matter what kind… but heels!)
