I like cocktails, but I typically prefer wine. UNLESS someone is serving Caipirinhas! While visiting Brazil in 2010 I was introduced to this cocktail and it was love at first taste. What I loved about it is that it was sweet with the perfect amount of sour, there was no obvious “alcohol” taste and it was served very cold. I would describe it as “delightfully refreshing”.

I bought Cachaca and have tried to make this at home, but it was not the same at all. So, my recommendation is to keep your eye out for this cocktail to be offered at a restaurant and order one as soon as you find a place that offers this delightful beverage.
My shoes for that: Mr. Cat Blue ballerina scalloped flats – if I was going to Brazil right now, these would be the shoes I would buy to walk around and tour the cities while sipping on Caipirinhas
