Taking the time to go back through what I have written over the past year while celebrating my 1 year blogiversary has been kinda fun… I have to admit there are some posts I even forgot all about! There were some the stuck out to me as clear favorites though for one reason or another and here they are:
DIY Paper Pinwheels
Seriously, how amazing are these?! I don’t have the heart to take the whole decoration apart and so it is still together in my Mama’s basement (Thanks Mom!!) ready for the next party. They are super easy to make and have a huge impact… my kind of DIY!
Le tour du Mont-Albert
Everything about this hike was crazy. We completely underestimated how challenging it would be to climb a mountain with Little Dude on the Mr.’s back (I took very few turns…). That said, it made for a great story to tell and we want to go back this year! Maybe without Little Dude though…
Gabbiano Promessa Pinot Grigio
When you find a good wine and buy it over and over and over it’s worth mentioning. This has become a “go-to” for my brother, his wife and I. In fact it will even be served at my former boss’ retirement party later this month. It’s good, inexpensive and has a fun label – you can’t go wrong!
How to Prepare Baby for Daycare
I have always wanted to have a post that other Moms would say “oh, you need that post from Jenna…it is so helpful!” and this was it! This was one of the hardest pots to write but it was also the most helpful (or at least I assume it was). To all of you who thanked me and to who of you who will (I know some of you haven’t needed this post yet, but you will!) – thanks for making my day! I loved hearing about how useful you found this post and was so happy to have made your life a teeny tiny bit easier.
Last but not least… the very first post I wrote and the inspiration for writing this blog to begin with:
Weeknights at Hotels
This was the day that I really realized how much my perspective had shifted from pre-motherhood to motherhood. Knowing that I wasn’t alone in this situation and yet I had noone to really tell about it I started There’s a Shoe for That. I might have gotten carried away… haha

Which post is your favorite so far?
