Hometown Hostess Series Introduction + Getaway Travel Bag Giveaway

I am from a small town and love showcasing what my town and others have to offer. There are so many little things to do no matter where you are or the size of the place that make travel destinations almost limitless. The places that always intrigue me the most are those that no one else is really thinking of. And, if they are thinking about them there is little information available about tourism in smaller areas or at least the “real” things people should do and see while visiting.

My love for exploring new places, curiosity about places people love and my best friend’s knack for being the ultimate hometown hostess inspired this travel series.

Hometown Hostess is your personalized tour through people’s hometowns (or their adopted hometowns). You will get ideas of where to eat, what to do, where to stay, and more all from the perspective of a local.

With itineraries ranging from family fun to a girl’s weekend away you will have hostesses from coast to coast giving you recommendations to make the most of their hometowns and your travel adventures.

The series will run every other week beginning March 27th in Charlottetown, PE. Two weeks after we are heading straight across the country to the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, BC with a stop in Russell, MB to follow on our way back out east. But that’s not all! Stay tuned for special edition posts like “How to Host Guests in Your Home like a Pro”, crowd pleasing recipes from the hostesses that their guests are still raving about, and more.
