Macaroni Salad is a staple at pretty much every potluck and BBQ event you will attend this summer, but don’t you get a little tired of the same old Macaroni Salad?!
When we were in Florida in February 2018 our host & hostess made the most amazing pasta salad any of us have ever tasted. I am still trying to perfect their recipe but in the mean-time have been experiencing with different types of pasta and combinations that make for super simple, but super tasty options. I think my guests are going to really like this option during their visits to our home this summer.
This combination was inspired entirely by the salad dressing…I hope you enjoy it!
Salsa Ranch Pasta Salad
1 500g box Tortiglioni Pasta
3/4 cup PC Salsa Ranch Salad Dressing
1 Tbsp child powder
1 cup Bacon Bits (I used Kirkland brand bacon pieces)
1 orange pepper, chopped
1 yellow pepper, chopped
Cook pasta and let cool
Chop both peppers and add to the pasta
Combine all ingredients, mix and let chill to allow flavours to settle (about 20 mins)
*For a vegetarian option simply do not add the bacon bits*
