Selkie Rosé Frizzante

rose all day

Name: Selkie Rosé Frizzante
Varietal: Rosé
Country: Canada
Price: $19.99

Why did I decide to try this wine? Although I feel kind of like I missed the boat on the #roseallday trend I’m starting to think it’s better late to the party than to not show up at all.

Would I prefer one glass or indulge in the bottle? Glass. The wine is too sweet for my liking, but a glass on a hot summer day sitting on the deck with a breeze blowing through my hair sounds almost heavenly.

blue sandalWhat shoes would I wear drinking this wine? I find it difficult to think of anything other than pink when drinking a rosé, but here is a slight variation of a sandal for the non pink lovers that is still elegant and sophisticated alike.

How would I describe the wine? The Mr described Selkie Rosé as “magic in a bottle” but a glass would be sufficient. If you take a smell of this wine it is something even the non-drinkers in the family are going to want to taste. The aromas of pure pink cotton candy are simply delightful. It resembles the taste of a cranberry spritzer that has strawberry garnishes and alcohol included. Mind you at 8.5% the taste of alcohol in this wine is very subtle.
