We visited Charlo beach park on what might have been the windiest day possible and yet Little Dude still loved the play structures and all of the space to run around.
The Charlo beach park has been around for as long as I can remember, but one of the structures was recently updated and is very new (maybe a year old?!). The new structure has wheelchair access with games available for all children to enjoy while it also offers climbing, slides and all kinds of fun activities that match it location next to the beach. The older of the two structures looks like a ship. You really can’t go wrong with a play structure that helps little imaginations (or even those of mommy and daddy in this case…) run wild for endless fun. I love it when playgrounds like this one for example and this Firetruck playground inspire imagination and physical activity mixed together.
This playground is a great stop for families looking to stretch their legs, get some energy out of the little ones and enjoy a scenic picnic lunch next to the beach. If you’re staying for a while, even better! You can spend the whole day here searching for sea glass on the beach, playing in the playground and more. The shaded picnic tables make this playground ideal for even the sunniest of afternoons.
