Scotch Cookies

Servings: 24 cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups flour 2 scant cups of flour, gradually added to the butter
  • dash salt
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 tbsp icing sugar

Method
 

  1. Scoop dough and roll into balls. Flatten with the bottom of a glass or your hand before baking.
  2. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes
  3. After the cookies are cool top with your favorite white icing and half a maraschino cherry.
