When my mom and I decided we were going to Paris with baby Kate the first thing I thought of was the pictures. I absolutely love pictures, getting pictures taken and having a variety to use in photo books, on the wall, etc.
Funny enough I get this love for pictures from my mom. For as long as I can remember she has always been taking pictures of us. Stopping along the highway because the fall leaves looked perfect for a photo, going in other people’s yards because the angles looked just right, or making us climb a snowbank for a “one time thing” to get a picture of us in action without all of our snow gear on. My mom is not a blogger or a photographer, but she has the content to create endless amounts of posts or galleries.
I knew when we traveled to Paris between my mom and I we would have no shortage of photos. I was a little concerned that we would do the entire trip and not end up with a photo of the three girls – Mom, Kate and I. Of course we would have selfies, but with a baby that can be a challenge and trying to ft three of us in the frame often loses whatever backdrop we were originally trying to capture.
Since we both love photos so much booking a Flytographer photo shoot was kind of a no-brainer for this once in a lifetime travel experience with just the the girls, three generations, in Paris. we booked the photo shoot with Krystal in Paris who was amazing. She was friendly, helped answer questions I had, was helpful the day before in offering suggestions of how we might get to the locations with the pending strike of the transportation systems in Paris, she was lovely with Kate and made us feel comfortable right away.

Can we all just agree that the photo of my mom by herself is AMAZING?! Hello, Paris Model!
We love the photos and would certainly do it again. In case you are wondering a bit more details: We had a 30 minutes photo shoot that we paid $250 USD for. We were guaranteed 25 pictures within 5 business days of our photo shoot. We actually ended up with a few more photos and received them in 2.5 days. It is not inexpensive to do, but in my opinion 100% worth it. For someone who loves photos like me this is a great gift idea – honeymoons, baby moons, girls’ trips, family vacations, etc. Like I said it’s on the higher side, price wise, but something you could certainly buy as a group for a wedding gift or something like that. My warning however would be do not buy this for someone who does not like getting pictures done – that just would not make the experience fun for them.
And lastly, in case you are considering booking a Flytographer photo shoot I have a referral link you can use to get $25 off your session – Click here to get the $25 discount. I will also receive a $25 credit if you use my referral link, so THANK YOU, in advance!
