Mouse Hunt in Charlottetown, PEI

A free mouse hunt in Charlottetown, PE is the perfect family activity as well as great way to explore downtown. #travel #toddlertravel
The concept of the mouse hunt in Charlottetown, PEI is super simple and one that I think many cities should copy. The mouse hunt is set up around downtown Charlottetown and features Eckhart the Mouse. Eckhart is also the main character in The True Meaning of Crumbfest, a children’s book written and illustrated by people from Charlottetown.

Little Dude and I had a great time touring downtown with friends of ours finding all of the mice, visiting a few vendors, getting some delicious coffee near Founders Hall and enjoying this beautiful maritime city.
You may have seen this video posted on my IG TV channel, but we had so much fun finding all of the mice around Charlottetown, PEI I simply couldn’t help but give you all a blog post about it.

Eckhart himself is a mouse with great curiosity who loves to explore – channel your inner Eckhart and get ready for the great mouse hunt!

To begin, go to Founders Hall and get yourself a brochure to have a printed copy of the instructions or simply download the PDF version ahead of time. Before you even begin the hunt, make sure to take a slight detour to Receiver, a small coffee shop that serves excellent lattes and can give you your coffee fix for the day.

Follow the instructions where you will get in a nice walk, search high and low to find all nine (9) Eckhart the Mouse statues around the city. Oh, and did I mention this activity is absolutely FREE?! Have fun finding all the mice and enjoying beautiful PEI.
